The Last Churrito
by
Tingster & The Coyotitos

[Verse 1]
Sun bleeds down on a hollow trail,
The Coyote moves through a world gone stale.
Ash for bread, dreams for dust,
Survival’s a habit — not a trust.

[Chorus]
I’m the last Churrito, brittle and bold,
Burned by the heat of the stories told.
Cracked but sweet — I still remain,
Proof that something lives through pain.

[Verse 2]
Buzzards watch with ancient eyes,
Waiting for hope to oxidize.
Steel and sand and memory’s glow,
Only the hungry ever know.

[Bridge]
The churro was never for eating,
It was for enduring.
The taste of life when life was done,
The will to crawl toward the sun.

[Final Chorus]
I’m the last Churrito, sugar and scar,
The echo of what we are.
Not a meal, not a prayer, not a show —
Just the urge to live when nothing grows.

[Outro]
No king, no crown, no shadow below —
Only the Coyote… and the last Churrito.
