In a world facing growing division and inequality, a powerful message of unity has just come from the Vatican. Pope Leo XIV has signed one of the most important moral appeals of our time — the apostolic exhortation De Lexite, “For Love of the Poor" on October 4, 2025. In it, he emphasized the importance of people’s movements that unite humanity and work to address global social challenges. The Pope highlighted a simple but powerful truth — that no one should live in poverty or be left behind. His message is both timely and deeply meaningful, reminding us that compassion and solidarity are essential for a just world. As volunteers of the International Public Movement ALLATRA, we wholeheartedly support Pope Leo XIV’s call. It perfectly aligns with our vision of a society where every person is valuable, and social issues are solved through cooperation and mutual support. We also fully share the message of Pope Francis’s encyclical Laudato Si’, which urges everyone to care for our common home — our planet. The connection between environmental and social issues, outlined in that encyclical, is a core part of ALLATRA’s mission. Our work includes studying the effects of nanoplastics and other threats to Earth’s ecosystems. We believe that only by joining our efforts — in caring for both people and nature — can we build a stable, thriving, and harmonious future together. pontifex
