Obadiah – The Fall of Edom
The Bible on BrainRot — The shortest book in the Old Testament carries a heavy punch. God speaks through Obadiah to condemn Edom — Israel’s proud brother nation — for gloating over Jerusalem’s fall. Their arrogance, built on the cliffs of pride, will be their undoing. “Though you soar like the eagle… from there I will bring you down,” declares the Lord.

But Obadiah isn’t just about revenge — it’s about justice. When you rejoice in someone else’s pain, you side with evil. Yet the chapter ends in hope: “The kingdom shall be the Lord’s.” Every act of pride will crumble, and every act of faith will stand.
