When Awakening Becomes a God

– You Were Never Not Spiritual

You were never not spiritual.
Not in your worry.
Not in your wanderings.
Not even in your forgetting.
You do not become spiritual by striving.
You simply remember who you’ve always been.
Even when you felt furthest from the path—
even then,
you were walking it.
🌾 Reflective Expansion
There’s a great myth floating through many teachings: that you must awaken to Spirit in order to become spiritual.
But you are Spirit, already.
You may forget. You may wander. You may choose veils and play hide-and-seek with Truth. But none of this erases what you are.
Awakening is not a reward for effort. It is a gentle undoing of forgetting.
It is remembrance, not transformation.
There is no finish line to cross. No mountain summit to prove your worth. There is only this: a return to the garden within.
You were spiritual as a child covered in mud.
You were spiritual the moment you wept, unsure why.
You are spiritual when you doubt, and when you dance.
Spirituality is not an achievement. It is your nature.
You are already Home.

Maybe a song, a walk, a childhood habit, or a quiet gaze out a window. Let it reintroduce you to your own sacredness.
