I love the concept—it’s a niche, modular 9mm subgun with a cult following—but the execution falls short. The receiver is too long, the stock is awful, and it uses Glock mags instead of the Gapard’s steel ones. I break down the Russian Gapard’s history, designed in 1995 with swappable calibers and recoil systems, then list the ST Inc clone’s flaws, like the oversized receiver and incorrect muzzle device. I suggest fixes: partner with Palmetto State Armory for a shorter receiver, better sights, and a proper folding stock, and tweak the 3D-printed parts for accuracy. I want this gun to shine, and with some refinement, I’d buy one myself.
