Playthrough of Call of Duty: United Offensive Expansion Pack.

Playing the Single Player campaign on Veteran Difficulty.

Well. here we are. Another game completed. This is by far, the mission I was dreading the most for this game. The train station section was a nightmare. Trying to figure how to destroy the tanks while evading the Stukas as well trying not to get shot was insane. Literally had to camp towards the end as well as saving very frequently to beat this mission.

Final thoughts on this game:
I will say there were more intense moments in this game when compared to the main game. Some of the missions were very enjoyable as well. The one in the bomber was a definite standout out. Although there were some negatives. I made the comment back in the main game that I didn't think the game was QA tested as well on Veteran. I would say that's even more true for the expansion. I don't know if I was seeing things, but there were times when I felt like I was emptying a whole mag of rounds into an enemy and he still didn't go down. There were also times when taking hits was unavoidable and with a health system where there's no means of gaining back health, that's huge problem. Which is why they likely gave you health back after the jeep sequence in the first mission of the game. Again, like the main game, it is probably best to play this on Regular or Hardened. Only try this on Veteran if you really want to give yourself a challenge.

I would say this is a game to definitely pick up when it goes on sale. Although like the main game, the multiplayer for the expansion pack is basically dead as well. I know COD is very well known for its multiplayer, but for the older titles, you're usually playing them for the campaigns.

If you enjoyed this playthrough, leave a like and follow. It's much appreciated!
