mRNA COVID-19 vaccination may induce or accelerate the underlying plasma cell disorder

Immunoglobulin light chains are produced by plasma cells, a type of white blood cell. There are two types of light chains: lambda and kappa light chains.

Light chains normally occur as parts of antibody molecules (together with heavy chains), but some are released in free form into the blood. An abnormal amount of free light chains may indicate a plasma cell disorder, including multiple myeloma (plasma cell cancer), and it may lead to amyloidosis and kidney disease.

By analyzing the data from the VAERS (The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) and the scientific literature, Dr. Chandler concludes that both COVID-19 infections and mRNA COVID-19 vaccines can cause an increase in free light chains in the blood. mRNA COVID-19 vaccination may induce or accelerate the underlying plasma cell disorder.
