Ovation 2751AX-5-G (old version - no cards)

I was picking up fret buzz for some reason so I raised the action on the Ovation 12 String Pro Series 2751AX-5-G with two shims this morning. This meant a string change as well. I threw on my last box of Elixir .010 - .047’s. I normally use D’Addario’s strings, but as I said, this was my last set of Elixir’s. I have about a dozen sets of D’Addorio’s in my maintenance kit.

Turned the guitar to D Minor (DADFAD) to check out the sound. Turns out these strings voice the same as one of the other 12’s with Elixir’s as well. . Here is the breaking in of the strings. Just improv some Pink Floyd riffs this early AM.

The frett buzz is gone.
I did not use a pick in this morning’s play. Fingerpicked and strummed with the fingers.
