FSB Thwarts Terror Plot in Moscow Targeting Senior Defense Ministry Official

The FSB has reportedly thwarted a terrorist attack planned in Moscow targeting a high-ranking officer of the Russian Ministry of Defence.

According to official sources:
— The plot was organized by Ukrainian intelligence services with involvement of *ISIS-affiliated militants;
— Four suspects detained: three Russian nationals and one individual from Central Asia;
— The suspect from Central Asia was allegedly recruited by *ISIS militant Saidakbar Gulomov, linked to the assassination of Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov;
— The bombing was to take place in a densely populated area of the capital;
— The explosive device was to be delivered via drone;
— Estimated blast radius: up to 70 meters.

Authorities claim the plan was for the attacker to die alongside the target.
