On this important day, various sites across Toledo, Holland, Sylvania, Maumee, Monclova, Oregon, Ottawa Hills, Swanton, Waterville, and Whitehouse will accept different types of medications. You can bring narcotics, over-the-counter meds, pet medications, prescriptions, and vitamins. However, take note that some items cannot be accepted. Inhalers, ointments, and lotions will not be collected. Additionally, while sharps, syringes, and liquid medications may be collected, not all locations will accept them. Bring your medications between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Here are some key locations for disposal: Kroger stores in Toledo at 4633 Suder Ave., 2555 Glendale Ave., and 2257 N. Holland-Sylvania Rd. Theres also a Kroger in Holland at 7059 Orchard Centre Dr. and one in Sylvania at 7545 W. Sylvania Ave. You can also visit police and fire stations. In Toledo, you can go to Scott Park District at 2301 Nebraska Ave. or the Northwest District at 2330 W. Sylvania Ave. Other station options include Holland Police Department, Maumee Police Division, Oregon Police Division, Ottawa Hills, Waterville Police Department, and Whitehouse Fire Station 85.
