1. Salvation is a gift of grace, not human effort.
Paul teaches that salvation comes purely from God’s grace—His unearned, undeserved favor. We cannot earn it through good deeds, rituals, or moral behavior. It’s entirely the result of God’s kindness and mercy.

2. Faith is the way we receive God’s grace.
Our part is to believe and trust in what Christ has done for us on the cross. Faith is like the open hand that receives God’s free gift—it doesn’t create the gift, it simply accepts it.

3. No one can boast about salvation.
Since salvation doesn’t depend on human performance, no one can take pride or claim credit for it. All glory belongs to God alone, who loved, forgave, and redeemed us through Jesus Christ.

4. Grace transforms, not excuses sin.
Though we are not saved by works, true faith will naturally produce good works (see Ephesians 2:10). Grace doesn’t make us lazy—it inspires grateful obedience.
