Route Gdańsk – Utena

The journey begins in the large port city of Gdańsk, where a truck with a semi-trailer stands ready for departure at the logistics company’s warehouse. The cargo consists of industrial goods to be delivered to a factory in Lithuania. Departure takes place at dawn, when a light mist still hangs over the sea and the roads are quiet.

The driver sets off along the S7 highway toward Elbląg and then to Olsztyn. The road is wide and comfortable, with smooth turns and good pavement. Along the way, there are many fuel stations and rest areas for short breaks. In the Masurian Lakes region, the route passes through forests and near lakes, offering picturesque views throughout the drive.

Further on, the route leads through Suwałki to the Polish–Lithuanian border. After a brief stop for border control, the road continues into Lithuania. Here, the highways are narrower but even and well maintained, with less traffic and clean roadsides. The landscape gradually changes from dense forests to open fields and rolling hills, guiding the driver toward the town of Utena.

The final stage of the journey runs peacefully past small villages and lakes. In Utena, the unloading point is a small industrial warehouse located near the main road. After parking the trailer and completing the delivery, the driver receives payment and experience for an international transport.

The total distance is about five hundred kilometers, with an average driving time of seven to eight hours. It is a pleasant and varied route combining Poland’s fast motorways with Lithuania’s quiet rural roads, surrounded by scenic lakes and forests.
