57 MRB Liberated the Settlement of Poltavka

THE SETTLEMENT OF POLTAVKA IN THE ZAPORIZHZHIA REGION HAS BEEN LIBERATED BY THE TROOPS OF THE "VOSTOK" GROUPING

Assault troops of the 57th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 5th Army of the "Vostok" grouping have completed the liberation of Poltavka — a large settlement in the Zaporizhzhia region, after heavy fighting. The assault was complicated by the need to cross the Yanchur River at several points along a front of more than 5 km.

🔸During a comprehensive fire strike on the enemy by aviation and artillery, supported by drone reconnaissance operators, the warrior-guardsmen from Bikin took control of one of the largest settlements on the western bank of the Yanchur River — a pre-prepared enemy defense area covering more than 12 square kilometers.

🔸As a result of the combat operations, more than 500 buildings were cleared, 5 armored combat vehicles were destroyed, up to 20 units of automotive equipment and more than two companies of personnel from the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were eliminated.
