A group of protesters, calling themselves «Congreso de los Pueblos» (Congress of the Peoples), staged a rally outside the embassy to denounce Trump's right-wing agenda:

«We are demonstrating for our sovereignty, against further US intervention, against everything the US has participated in — the Palestinian genocide, interference in Latin America, and the threats they make in the Caribbean... against the Venezuelan Bolivar model»

At least four police officers were injured.
