Walid Shoebat For They Are Not All Israel Which Are of Israel
Walid Shoebat For They Are Not All Israel Which Are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
The children of the promise are counted for the seed.
And thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
For the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the LORD to anger. Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest unto their fathers. That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers. Then hear thou from the heavens, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest to them and to their fathers. That they may fear thee, to walk in thy ways, so long as they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers. In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers. Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.
But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers. And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers. For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
Google AI Overview
The phrase "throne of the Lord" does not refer to a literal physical chair, but symbolizes God's ultimate power, sovereignty, and authority over the universe. It is a metaphor representing God's reign, glory, and judgment. In some biblical passages, the "throne" also represents God's presence on Earth, such as in the Temple or the future church.
Symbolic meanings
Sovereignty and power: The throne represents God's supreme rule and dominion, indicating that all things are under His control.
Glory and majesty: Descriptions of God's throne, like the one with an emerald rainbow around it in Revelation, are meant to convey his magnificence and splendor through powerful imagery.
Judgment and justice: The throne is the place where God dispenses justice. The judgment of all nations will occur before it.
Presence on Earth: In some contexts, "throne" symbolizes the location of God's presence on Earth. For example, Jerusalem is called the "Throne of the LORD" in Jeremiah 3:17.
Access for believers: The throne of grace represents believers' ability to approach God to find mercy and help in times of need, a concept emphasized in Hebrews 4:15-16.
Why it's not a literal throne
The Bible states that even the highest heavens cannot contain God (1 Kings 8:27).
The throne is an earthly symbol that helps human beings conceptualize God's divine and transcendent nature.
What Bible verse calls Jerusalem "Sodom and Egypt" in the Bible verse "come out of her" who is the her in this verse?
Google AI Overview
The phrase calling a city "Sodom and Egypt" is found in Revelation 11:8, referring to Jerusalem. However, the command to "come out of her, my people" is found in Revelation 18:4 and refers to a different entity called "Babylon the Great".
Jerusalem is called "Sodom and Egypt"
The verse: Revelation 11:8 describes the dead bodies of the "two witnesses" lying in the street of "the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified".
The meaning: Jerusalem is symbolically referred to as Sodom and Egypt because, like those corrupt places, it had become spiritually depraved and hostile to God. The reference to "where their Lord was also crucified" clarifies that this "great city" is Jerusalem.
"Her" is "Babylon the Great"
The verse: In Revelation 18:4, a voice from heaven commands, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues".
The meaning: The "her" in this context refers to "Babylon the Great," an entity described in Revelation 17 and 18; Which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified
Interpretation of "Babylon": The identity of Babylon the Great is symbolic and subject to various interpretations.
Some scholars identify it with ancient Rome, as it was the dominant world power at the time the book was written.
Other interpretations see "Babylon" as a larger metaphor for the worldly, corrupt system that opposes God and deceives the nations; Which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified
The command: The call to "come out of her" is a divine warning for God's faithful people to separate themselves spiritually from this corrupt worldly system, lest they partake in its sins and share in its destruction.
This parallels the Old Testament call for God's people to leave literal Babylon.
