Pakistan and Afghanistan are set to hold talks in Qatar, led by the defence ministers of both nations. Talks in Doha would follow the Taliban's ceasefire violation accusations against Pakistan. The Taliban said Pakistan bombed three locations in Paktika province, which killed at least 10 civilians and injured 12 people. The strike also allegedly killed three cricketers, after which Afghanistan pulled out of a tri-nation series with Pakistan and Sri Lanka. US President Donald Trump said Pakistan attacked Afghanistan and called the conflict an "easy" one to resolve. Fresh strikes followed a ceasefire between Pakistan and the Afghan Taliban. Last week, Pakistan and Taliban forces clashed along the border, killing dozens of soldiers on both sides.
