I. A Land Filled with Rage - Proverbs 14:29; 29:11
* A. Hasty and uncontrolled rage are the province of fools
* B. What are they so angry about? Borders
* 1. Does the Word of God speak to this issue?
* a. The first border was established by God - Genesis 3:23-24
* b. He gave borders to His people - Joshua 14-22
* c. A curse pronounced on those who move the property boundaries - Proverbs 23:10-11
* d. The eternal borders, New Heaven, New Earth, New Jerusalem - Revelation 21:10-12, 24, 27
* 2. The anger of the anti-ICE rioters is not rooted in true Justice as defined in God’s Holy Law

II. Can There Be a Righteous Anger? - Ephesians 4:22-24, 26-27
* A. Righteous anger is anger at what God is angry at
* 1. God is angry at the wicked every day - Psalm 7:11
* a. Every violation of God’s Law produces God’s righteous, just and holy wrath
* b. God’s anger against Judah - Jeremiah 25:34-38
* 2. Human anger does not produce righteousness, God’s standard is alone the measure of just anger - James 1:20
* 3. When we are unrighteously anger we give Satan a foothold in our heart
* B. How can we be angry righteously?
* 1. Be slow to anger - James 1:19-20
* 2. Lovingly confront those who have wronged us with the end purpose of restoration - Matthew 18:15
* 3. Resolve the situation quickly - before sundown
