Apatros Review Ep-0190: Rage: Crossfire [1984]

AR-0190: Another day, another Mad Mario [Italian Mad Max], this time from the genre's heyday in the early 2980s... Oops, I meant 1980s [my finger slipped while I was typing this on me Android], and a much more gentler affair than the typical bloodthirsty Mad Mario.

A few months after WW3, the surviving personnel of a military outpost send a freshly recruited commando named Rage and their best crack squad [including a female soldier who likes to wear denim shorts and a red crop top, so pretty much like the VHS cover] to find another base and recover their uranium fuel...

But they need to outrace a rival faction to get the prize. Although this is a film where it is literally not the prize the matters, but the friends you make along the way - I'm serious here, this is Mad Gentleman Mario to be precise, the only PG-friendly Mad Mario film I have ever encountered.

Aside from being your young children's "My First Mad Max", this isn't a standout movie in any way, but it does provide some interest for Mad Max / Road Warrior fans as background wallpaper or for the kid's play pen at Lord Humungus's clubhouse.

Good luck trying to find a copy though...

My Grade: C [Average]

Oh and if Rumble's techs are worried about that index pic, she's wearing her tank top, I swear!
