Aly "The Garlic Girl" had her family farm beside Universal Ostrich Farms seized by the CFIA and the RCMP to facilitate and control access to a massive cull operation.

Aly's land was never part of the quarantine and was only seized once the cull operation began.
Since the land has been seized, the operation has caused extensive damage to the land.

On top of the physical and long-term damage being done to the property, there is psychological damage being done to all parties involved.

Aly explains what it's like to be scared in her own home and surrounded by armed agents of the government.

What it's like to wonder if you will be allowed through the RCMP checkpoint and police line at your front gate.
