Episode 53 of Skywatcher Stories is a scary one! Coming in first is a story from a woman in Alberta, Canada who, years ago, spent the day cross country skiing in Banff National Park with a friend. After a few kilometers, they came across a massive patch of snow that seemed to be melted all the way down to the bare ground. If that weren't strange enough, the shape was nearly a perfect square. After spending some time trying to figure out what had caused it, they moved on, but years later, her friend was plagued with skin cancers on her feet and legs and she had been the only one to actually walk around inside the bare patch that day. Our second bizarre encounter comes to us from a man in Eugene, Oregon. One morning while waiting at his local DMV office, he decides to get a coffee and take a walk to kill time. When he comes back he realizes over two hours of time had gone by. Not long after that, he is approached by two homeless men on bikes that start rambling on about nonsense, but when he stops to actually listen to them, he finds that they are talking about a reset that happened in the giant simulation we all live in. Obviously, he doesn't believe them until one of the men says that this reset had been about two hours long, which was exactly how much time he had lost during his walk. Our third incredible story is about a man from Washington who visits his friend in Victoria, BC for a few days. While staying in a waterfront home that faces the Olympic Mountains, they see what looks to be a large boat on the water on their first night. After watching it for a while, they see it life hundreds of feet above the water and fly around for several minutes. Thinking it might be a coast guard helicopter, they aren't too concerned, but when it flies over to the mountains, they actually witness it go into the side of a solid peak. You won't want to miss this week's episode filled with amazing unexplained stories!
