Prophecy to Baruch: God’s Warning and Promise of Preservation.
Baruch, Jeremiah's assistant, received a prophecy during King Jehoiakim's reign, warning him of coming hardships as God declared He would destroy the land of Judah. Despite the turmoil, God promised to preserve Baruch's life. This prophecy served as encouragement for Baruch during difficult times, including when he later went to Egypt with Jeremiah.
