The Buskman Report: SPACE ACE FREHLEY'S EARTHLY TOUR IS NOW COMPLETE [Rated PG-13]

With a heavy, heavy, heart, I must report the loss of my ALL.TIME. FAVOURITE!!! Guitar Hero, Paul Daniel "ACE" Frehley.

First and foremost from his time in the shock rock band of the 1970's... KISS...but more importantly his Solo Career that influenced me and my music, even today, as a 56 year old "Perpetual Teenager Wearing The Space Ace Face Paint" whenever I hear his amazing work on a radio, or phone, or in a club.

Man, Ace...Why did YOU hafta go fist, brother...?...man.

Now..after all that is happened lately...I'm really up for some "Hard Times" to come. :(

But rest in peace assured, Ace...your protege, Buskman, will NOT give up!

...Just like you didn't give up, brother.

..after all the hell you went through during your personal tour of this evil planet.

Because of your lyric in "Rock Soldiers", Ace, I will continue forward.

...even "alone" if I have to, Ace...as I engage all the "Fiery Holes" awaiting me, in this life.

A broken hearted teen age at heart rocker

From USA Today Entertainment:
"Ace Frehley, the original lead guitarist and legendary "Spaceman" of KISS, has died.

Frehley died Oct. 16 after reportedly being on life support following a fall at his home. He was 74.

The rocker's family said in a statement to USA TODAY that the musician died peacefully, surrounded by his family, in Morristown, New Jersey.

"We are completely devastated and heartbroken. In his last moments, we were fortunate enough to have been able to surround him with loving, caring, peaceful words, thoughts, prayers and intentions as he left this earth. We cherish all of his finest memories, his laughter, and celebrate his strengths and kindness that he bestowed upon others. The magnitude of his passing is of epic proportions, and beyond comprehension. Reflecting on all of his incredible life achievements, Ace’s memory will continue to live on forever!" the statement read."
