Something lies awake
Who am I?
Something makes me feel so cold

Are you a friend
Or lest a parasite?
It seems this story has been told

The paint is peeling
The dog is faded
The scepter slides right through my hands

Blood is spilling
When lives are created
It's the same old cycle over again

Am I afraid of my own shadow
When it's as dark as me inside
But if I'd speak they'd say I'm shallow
So I make my feelings hide
But what is innocence when you lack confidence
It seems that I have hit a brick wall

I am feeling like a sandworm
Who spends his days on the desert ground
My life was spent on planet Saturn
As I am digging underground

My love is fading I concede
