About the movie:
During WWII, British intelligence blackmails a German demolitions expert, Robert Crain (Marlon Brando), into a dangerous mission. He must pose as an SS officer aboard a German cargo ship commanded by the fiercely loyal Captain Mueller (Yul Brynner). Crain's secret task is to disable the scuttling charges that will sink the ship if it's intercepted by the Allies. A tense and complex psychological battle of wits ensues between the two powerful men on the high seas.
