This is exposing the Liberal Party of Canada (LPC) and government messaging are reframing Indigenous consent into language like “benefits and participation” — effectively erasing the idea of true consent and replacing it with managed participation.

“Assimilation by Language”

Mark — they just attempted to openly assimilate Indigenous people, right in front of everyone, and almost nobody even noticed.

Think about what that means — Indigenous people have already been assimilated in your mind. Watch this carefully.

They’re using words like “several characteristics, benefits, and participation for Indigenous people.”

The word “consent” has been replaced with “benefits and participation.” If you don’t understand how serious that shift is — go read the latest reconciliation or inclusion manifestos being released across Canada right now.

This is exactly what I was warning about before the election — and I’ll keep warning forever.

The Liberal Party of Canada (LPC) is still colonial at its core. They simply use prettier words — words with positive connotations — to hide the same old control.

They talk about “benefits” and “participation” instead of “free, prior, and informed consent.”

This strategy has always been the same: recruit people who think they’re allies of Indigenous communities, get them to loudly advocate for “inclusion” and “participation,” and in doing so, drown out the Indigenous voices who are saying no.

Because consent is not something Indigenous people need to fight for.
It’s something they already have — and it’s being quietly taken away through language.
