Reinforcing the Tabletop & Adding Back Doors (2x4 & Cedar Build)

Almost exactly a year ago, I built this rolling firewood cabinet using basic 2x4 framing and cedar fence planks for the siding. Now, with cold weather and heavy wood use approaching, it's crunch time! This is the last chance to complete these major fixes before winter makes woodworking unrealistic and before I desperately need the storage.

The immediate problem is the tabletop, salvaged from an old drafting table, which is failing (delaminating) under the environmental pressure. I also urgently need to add swinging doors to the back to make the cabinet truly critter-proof and ready for heavy outdoor use this season. In this eighth installment, I'm tackling both major fixes to get the cabinet winter-ready: I'll be strengthening the unstable tabletop with new 2x4 cross-bracing, and constructing the final two hinged doors on the open backside. I'll be cycling through my essential tools—table saw, chop saw, drill, and sander—to finish strong. I've noted the current screws are a future rust issue, but for now, I'm focused on getting this essential piece of winter storage solid and sealed for the coming snow and rain.
