Taurus is rolling out new releases like crazy and I'd argue that few other companies are actually doing as much for the firearms world as Taurus. Springfield Armory and Smith and Wesson are far behind. But nobody brings the unexpected quite like Taurus does. The GX4 Strike is just that. A joint venture between Strike Industries and and Taurus, the GX4 Strike is a GX4 Carry adapted for Strike's Bravo chassis system. The bravo is not a new product from strike industries and was available for the Sig Sauer P320 but as the P-320 seems to be face, difficulties, the Strike keeps the bravo chassis viable. Strike is offering theses chassis for sale on existing systems. The Strike FSA brace is also and optional upgrade and I have really liked this brace a lot. The threaded barrel begs for a silencer and that precisely what I did. The first Suppressor I used was a Shadow Systems HS923 that utilized traditional stacked baffles. With 115 and 124gr round, slide velocities were a little high but 147gr and 160gr subsonic loads didn't suffer this issues. Still I wanted and excuse to get a Mojave 9 suppressor from Dead Air and the low back pressure can solved all issues with slide velocities. While stocked and braced pistols don't fill many practical rolls, the Strike does have some limited use but more importantly it's just fun. Insanely fun. I was about to run the Strike very fast and the optic made hits out to 100 yards not outside of reason. While I would love some larger native magazines, there are offerings for extensions from companies like Lakeline. Now we just need a Bravo version of the TX22.

Special thank you to Cameo Shooting and Education Complex
