Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger tells us that people now pay thousands of dollars to PR firms to “fix” their Wikipedia entries.
“If you want the Wikipedia article about your enterprise or about yourself affecting your reputation to read a certain way, then you have to pay…Sometimes, maybe not all the time, but if there's a problem, you can get it fixed, but you're going to have to pay five or $10,000 or something to some PR firm.”
