[MHFU] Rathian & Rathalos vs Greatsword (6★ Village) (Urgent Quest)

Rathian is just the biggest piece of shit.
Fun fact: When you pick up Wyvern Droppings, it's actually just little mini rathians.

Rathalos:
Take advantage of his flying, go under him to both avoid his attacks and set up for a, usually, easy level 3 charge. When he shoots a fireball on the ground, depending on how much time you have (if you're close/he's not enraegd etc) try to get an unsheathe attack or level 1 or even level 2 charge. Shouldn't have too much trouble with him unless he just charges and tail whips all over the damn place.

Rathian:
Ugh. Main openings are when she shoots fireballs, which isn't too often. Watch out for her near constant charge attacks, when she does the backflip do NOT set up for a level 3 charge, she may do a second backflip. If she does a second backflip, then set up for a charge attack, otherwise just do an unsheathe attack and roll the hell out of the way. When she shoots fireballs you should have enough time for at LEAST a level 1 charge, but usually level 2 as well, don't get greedy.

This fight can be over quite fast, but it can be pretty clunky if you're not careful. It feels bad, but sometimes the best option is to just wait for an opening. As you can see, this hunt's a little sloppy because I kept being impatient. YMMV. Take the openings when they're there, make sure you stay out from in front of the monster, because they love to do them instant charges....... so fun...
