Driver Charged with DWI After Crashing into Barrier, Saved by Officer

On September 30, 2025, at approximately 12:10 am, a Mesquite Police Officer witnessed a single-vehicle crash on the highway after the driver struck a concrete barrier. The vehicle quickly caught fire, and the officer acted without hesitation pulling the driver from the burning car to safety.

The woman was charged with driving while intoxicated. She is expected to be ok.
