Deny Yourself

This is a tough message because our flesh can't stand to deny itself. Our minds are constantly pushing towards the world. Your body and soul are at war with the Spirit. This is why the word says:

"And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]." Romans 12:2

Once you are born again you experience this battle between with your Spirit and your Flesh & soul. The sanctification process will increase the strength of your spirit. The closer your get with Jesus the less power your flesh & soul will have over you. You will start to hate what God hates & love what God loves. The fruits of the spirit will come out and those old sins that had you in bondage will lose their stronghold.

The Lord will transform your heart from the inside out. Your relationship will blossom and Jesus will give you peace. Religion tries to transform you from the outside in through works.

In the video I mentioned a 3 day fast. I didn't do the fast to cast out a demon, I did the 3 day fast to help with my unbelief that I was healed and fully delivered. The fast was Jesus' showing me my authority in him dealing with the stronghold. The stronghold was that my authority in Jesus was stronger than any demon. With that revelation, shown to me from the good Lord, is what casted down the stronghold.

24 "Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. 25 For whoever wishes to save his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], but whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake will find it [that is, life with Me for all eternity]. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success], but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" Matthew 16:24-26
