Why Is the System So Complicated!? Just Serve the Papers!

Sometimes, it feels like property management turns into public service work.

Today, I’m doing the legwork for both the courthouse and the Sheriff’s Department — and get this: they’re literally right next to each other. But instead of them passing the paperwork internally, I still have to drive over, pay a fee, and hand-deliver the same documents they just sent to me. 🤦‍♂️

👉 I’ve already paid the filing fee, followed every step, and done everything by the book — but somehow, I’m still the one running papers across the street. Bureaucracy at its finest.

💡 This is the part of property management no one sees. It’s not just about collecting rent or changing locks — it’s also about navigating inefficiency and making sure the legal process stays on track no matter how many hoops you have to jump through.

All I want is for the paperwork to get served so we can move the eviction process forward. Sometimes they make it harder than it needs to be — but that’s why we stay persistent. Let’s get it done. Let’s get to work.
