The world is being coaxed into a vast scheme of investment for "AI" data centers that supposedly can handle the automation of virutally any process from banking to aircraft manufacturing. The proposed systems will gobble enormous amounts of electrical power and operate in connected clusters. What they are not telling you is that the existing artificial intelligence systems are highly error prone. And when an error is made in a critical process by a device that is not aware of the error and therefore perpetuates it, humans are likely to suffer as a result.
