Day 289 | The Devil Makes You Popular, But God Gives You Influence

“The devil makes you popular, but God gives you influence.”
That quote from Ray Rice stopped me cold.

I’m on Day 289 of my 365-day ice bath journey. I started this challenge to stay accountable and document my growth — not to chase numbers or fame. But there are moments when I catch myself checking the views, wondering if what I’m doing really matters.

Matthew 5:16 reminds us to let our light shine before others, that they may see our good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven.

This message is for every man building something worth standing on — your family, your faith, your character.
Because popularity shines on you, but influence shines through you.
