1970s Basement Ambience | Rainy on Window, Clothes Dryer, Record Player Static

1970s. Your basement. You just tossed a load of clothes into the dryer. It's pouring rain outside and your plans to go to the roller disco fell through. You invited some friends over to listen to records, page through MAD Magazine, and eat some pizza spins, space food sticks & screaming yellow zonkers instead. If the rain clears, you might all head to the drive-in, but for now you're content. Cozy. Enjoying the little things in life and time spent chatting and belly laughing with the people whose company you enjoy the most.

I'm so delighted to take you all back to the past again. I wasn't yet hatched in the 70s, so this scene used a lot of old photos for reference. My husband actually deserves all the credit for this ambience. Though he also wasn't alive during this funky time, he's super into 1970s aesthetic, music, movies and fashion, and this is basically his dream room.

Anyway, hope you enjoy this, whether you were alive during this time or not.

What I use to design & composite my 3D environments:
♡ Maya
♡ Final Cut Pro
♡ Photoshop for adjusting color, brightness and tones
♡ For audio I use a TASCAM or RODE mic to record, and I also license sounds when necessary
♡ There is absolutely zero AI involvement in my work, and never will be

P.S. If you missed the 80s ambience I made, you can enjoy it here: • 1980s Game Room Ambience | Rainy Night | 8...
