Dear God, Where The Hell Are You? ~ Luke Johnson (Poetry)

Dear God, where the hell are you?
I've heard all the stories but where can I find you?
Everywhere I look all I see is these physics
Cause and effect no effect from a wizard,//
Not even a magician just a plain old world,
really isn't that amazing just the same old world
or, maybe it is and I've basically missed all the crazy things that make this place blatantly bliss..
when I look up to the stars, I ponder my existence, determine there's a God and then it's met with resistance, one side of me wants to believe. The other side wonders where you are in this whole cherade. Like, why do you let so much darkness be cast upon the weakest of the weak and the last of the last? Maybe you're limited in what you can do. If that's the truth then really who are you? Because I'm told to the contrary, that you're awesome and powerful. Everywhere at all times and that everything's malleable. But I'm still yet to really see a miracle occur and the ones that I've heard about all seem doubtable. I've heard of these near death experiences, and to my disbelief they're all clear interferences, (cos) they're all so similar in one respect, that God is love and it's so direct, like in 1st John 4:8, that's what it says, and judging by my life, it seems correct. There's a love so strong that it can change a pest into real good man that's just doing his best. And so I step to the cross and I pray my best, because I've seen all the signs and I've laid to rest. Now I'm alive in Christ and I'm renewing my mind
And not conforming to the pattern of this world again
Because my God is love and he's real. Amen
