ONE OF THE MORE INTERESTING THINGS to come out of the Incel Debate in the past decade is a growing recognition of what some has come to call the Male Loneliness Epidemic - a rather dramatic turn of phrase, but nevertheless a very real problem. Or is it? While some quarters hold that the rise of the lonely male is a real cause for concern - mainly that of the prospect of said lonely males going off to do an Eliot Rodger - others hold that it's all overblown hype and social media spin. I suppose it would only be a matter of time before the topic would hit Black America proper, and "Tonight's Conversation" takes the matter up. But to what end, I wonder? After all, Ace Metaphor has and continues to make his daily bread by appealing to Black women - as is his right to do. So why the sudden interest in the social and inner lives of Black men? Is this genuine concern, click bait, or yet more "Black Men Ain't Sh*t" content that has been a formulaic go-to and cash cow for the Black Love Machine for decades now? That's what we're gonna talk about TONIGHT - join us!
