Pete Hegseth's Plane Forced To Make Emergency Landing

Posted • October 15, 2025: Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s plane was forced to make an emergency landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday because of a windshield issue. Hegseth and others were returning to the United States following a NATO meeting in Brussels when the plane’s windshield cracked. Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell posted a statement about the incident on X: “On the way back to the United States from NATO’s Defense Ministers meeting, Secretary of War Hegseth’s plane made an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom due to a crack in the aircraft windshield. The plane landed based on standard procedures and everyone onboard, including Secretary Hegseth, is safe.” Fox News reported that the plane Hegseth was onboard “reportedly dropped about 10,000 feet in flight, although we don’t have that confirmed just yet.” (…)
