ART Act- Reflect- Transform - Catholic Social Teaching Interactive Discussion October 10, 2025

Join catechist and theology student Dana Nussberger assisted by Teresee Martinez on a fascinating journey of considering the meaning of God’s word is lived out today. Restructure our discussion along the lines of the Catholic method of building God’s kingdom called the Cabrini method. There are three steps. First, Act to meet people’s immediate needs. Reflect on the word of God and teaching of the Catholic faith. Finally work to transform accepted patterns of sin. We also devote time to discussing and considering why the United States of America and the American Catholic Church have become so divided and what action steps you might Catholics can take to make Christ’s oneness uniting us in one family a reality. Together we will explore the ongoing discussion about the meaning of Christ and of the Catholic Church in the midst of hotly debated immigration issues. We will discuss whether or not these are best addressed through Immigration Reform (favored by the Vatican) or Immigration Enforcement (favored by conservatives and many conservative Catholics).
