Raced back halfway around the globe to make it to Charlie's Birthday

President Donald Trump surprised many during his speech by revealing that he had traveled from the other side of the world to attend the ceremony in honor of Charlie Kirk. He confessed that he considered asking to move the event to Friday but changed his mind when he learned it was Charlie’s birthday.

“That settles it,” Trump said, explaining that he even canceled commitments with “very large and very wealthy countries” to be present.

The president stated that he wouldn’t have missed that moment “for anything in the world” and emphasized that the United States is going through “a very important time” and “has never been better.”
