MZTV 1842: One of My Viewers is Going Through the Tribulation!

There was a post published on yesterday's video (you may have seen it) from a man named Brad Vincent who said, "We don't escape the Tribulation." He said this at the same time he merely wrote the words, "Matthew 24."

So now we understand, right? Brad is not rightly dividing the truth. He's not recognizing the difference between Matthew and, say, 1 Thessalonians, where Paul testifies twice to the fact that we are not appointed to Indignation. Brad doesn't appreciate the difference between the gospel to Israel (Israelites and their ilk WILL go through the Tribulation) and the gospel to the nations (not one member of the body of Christ will go through the Tribulation).

We can commiserate with Brad because we were once unaware of these two gospels in the so-called New Testament. The problem is that Brad comes across rather arrogantly, insinuating that he and those believing like him are the final word on this topic, at the same time insinuating that Your's Truly is a fly-by-night, lightweight runaway who would wither before the "experts" who don't even know that the nations have their own gospel and apostle.

I read most of Brad's letter here on this show. And I comment. I will read the rest tomorrow. I treat Brad as respectfully as I can, even while he calls my work "pig slop." I tell Brad that he is welcome here—and he is. Apparently he believes in the salvation of all (more on this tomorrow), so this is good. It's a good start. But it's not the finish.

Brad admits to being in a heightened emotional state when writing his post, and I admit that I am also in such a state answering it. Brad put me there! So we are brothers in passion, at least.

I don't hate you, Brad. I love you. Christ is about love, and that's what we are about here. I'm glad you're here. I pray that you will take up my offer to send you a free copy of "The First Idiot in Heaven." Not only will it convince you that some believers go through the Tribulation while others don't, it might also be used by God to set you in the camp of those who will be looking down at the Time of Jacob's Trouble from above.

Grace and peace.
