A cinematic meditation on “eddy loops of thought”—the mental whirlpools where motion becomes heat. Starting with real eddy currents in metal and water, the film maps that physics to a cognitive loop: questions that turn back on themselves, warming reputation and doubt rather than touching reality. The ouroboros—serpent biting its tail—anchors the metaphor, linking Egypt’s solar cycles to parallel cautions across traditions: Buddhist papañca, Yoga’s vṛttis, “hearers only” in Christianity, study-to-deed in Judaism, waswasah and jadal in Islam, and Taoist subtraction. No prescriptions here—only observation at the river bend where free will is most visible. The Inhibitor’s light doesn’t force; it reveals the loop.
