Video Two: That's the voice of the woman who walked past and saw me recording yelling out in her native tongue that I was recording. She's obviously ok with her brethren turning the park and playground into their own personal outdoor bar/entertainment area and they obviously don't understand their own language that well.
When did it become acceptable for a bunch of drunk indigenous people to take over the centre of Kuranda without the Kuranda Police stepping into stop it, stop them in their tracks, EVERY TIME they're in our public parks and spaces carrying on like violent self righteous thugs?
We wonder what that poor car load of visitors to Kuranda will remember about their very brief time in the village?
What the Kuranda Police did several days ago needs to happen EVERY DAY and ALL DAY until these people get it through their thick heads that it's not only their park and that there is an acceptable level of behaviour and then there is an unacceptable level of behaviour.
Intimidation is the lowest form of intellect and these people have it in spades...
