For generations, our world has watched the same cruelty repeat itself
a system that destroys countries, steals their resources, fuels civil wars, and builds governments that serve its interests.

We saw it in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Palestine ..etc.
Different places, same injustice.
The same powers that preach “freedom” are the ones arming occupation, silence, and destruction.

And in Gaza, this cruelty has reached its darkest form a genocide.
A genocide defended, funded, and justified by those who once claimed to stand for human rights.

When did humanity become selective?
When did one child’s life become worth more than another’s?
Why do the world’s tears only fall for some, while others are erased in silence?

I’ll never forget Omar, my 8-year-old patient from Gaza.
He suffered severe burns from an explosion. We tried to save him with the few tools we had under blockade, but he died, peaceful, innocent, as if asleep. I whispered goodbye and promised I’d never forget his beautiful face.

Days later, when a ceasefire was announced, a fragile hope after endless nights of fear, they bombed again.
This time, they killed his entire family, the same family that had been dancing, celebrating peace.

How do you describe a system that celebrates death at the edge of peace?
How do you justify a world that lets this happen again and again?

Maybe as a doctor, I can’t stop wars.
But I can’t accept them as normal.
Because if Omar and his family had been somewhere safe, somewhere with light, medicine, and dignity — they’d still be alive today.

So during this so-called ceasefire — by an occupation who already broken over 962 deals— my only hope is to save whoever we can, however we can.

It’s not impossible. It’s human.
And I still believe in a world that rises from truth,
where good people stand together for justice and peace.

Because peace without justice is just another word for surrender.
And I refuse to surrender the truth
not for politics,
not for comfort,
not for anyone.
