I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST!!!
IN Christ is the distinctive blessing of the gospel dispensation in which
every other is comprised -- justification, sanctification, adoption, and the future
glorifying of our bodies; all these are but different aspects of the one great
truth, that the Christian is one with Christ." -- Edward Arthur Litton
No words of scripture... hold within themselves a deeper mystery than this simple
formula of the Christian life, "in Christ." ...Yet, great as is the mystery of these
words, they are the key to the whole system of doctrinal mysteries. Like the
famous Rosetta stone, itself a partial hieroglyph, and thereby furnishing the long
sought clue to the Egyptian hieroglyphics, these words, by their very mystery,
unlock all mysteries of the divine life, letting us into secrets that were "hidden
from ages and from generations. A.J. Gordon
Ephesians 2
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath
before ordained that we should walk in them.
1 Corinthians 1
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness,
and sanctification, and redemption:
1 John 5
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may
know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the
true God, and eternal life.
One of the most blessed truths of Paul’s revelation and New Testament truth is the reality of
us believers being “In Christ”. This is in the New Testament about 134 times and is an
important aspect of Paul’s Revelation of Redemption.
All that Christ did, has and is to us, are the possession of those who are “In Christ”.
Philemon 1
6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every
good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
1 John 4
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment:
because as he is, so are we in this world.
John 14
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
These great truths of being in Christ become energized in us believers as we meditate and
acknowledge each one of them. This union with Christ is so complete, that the Apostle John
exclaims that as Christ is now, so are we in this world. This is not as He was, as the Son of
man, but as He is now the Resurrected glorified Christ, seated at God’s right hand. Because of
this union, believers can do what Christ did, and greater works (proclaim, explain the new
birth) because He has made redemption complete.
In Christ can be viewed in three ways: Again, to quote A.J. Gordon” If one is in Christ, he
must have regeneration; for how can the Head be alive, and the members dead? If one is in
Christ, he must be justified; for how can God approve the Head, and condemn the members?
If one is in Christ, he must have sanctification; for how can the spotlessly Holy remain in vital
connection with one who is unholy? If one is in Christ, he must have redemption; for how can
the Son of God be in glory, while that which He has made a part of His Body lies abandoned in
the grave of eternal death?”
In Christ, can be viewed in Three Ways.
First: We are grafted In Christ, as a branch is grafted into the vine:
John 15
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine;
no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
John 15
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth
forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Being In Christ is a living union with the vine. Abiding means living, and since we are In Christ
we have that life of the vine in us. It is the life of the vine, Christ’s divine life that creates fruit
bearing in the branch. No outward conformity can create that fruit-bearing, but the abiding
branches can’t help but produce Christ-like qualities. Many will stress outward conformity,
copying Christ’s holiness, or legalism, but God by engrafting us into Christ the branch initially
and in Him we find justification, sanctification, redemption, and holiness which are the
outgrowth of being engrafted into Christ as He communicates that divine life through Christ
the vine .
Secondly: Being In Christ can be described as a union, or marriage:
Romans 7
4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye
should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring
forth fruit unto God.
Through this union, or marriage we receive the benefits of His resurrection and bear fruit
unto God. We are in vital union with Him.
Thirdly, being in Christ is being one with Him in spirit, our spirit and His are one.
1 John 4
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment:
because as he is, so are we in this world.
Psalm 17
15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy
likeness.
1 Corinthians 6
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
Romans 12
5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
1 Corinthians 12
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
1 Corinthians 12
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body,
being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
Ephesians 5
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Being in Christ makes us one with Him in spirit. This is so much so that as He is, so are we in
this world. David’s longing to wake in righteousness and likeness is satisfied in Christ. Are
being joined to the Lord makes us on spirit. Being one with Christ makes us members of the
body of Christ. We are one with Him, of His flesh and of His bones.
What We Have In Him- In Whom We Have Redemption: Reality of Redemption
Colossians 1
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance
of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom
of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Ephesians 1
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the
riches of his grace;
2 Corinthians 5
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in him.
We have been redeemed, delivered from the authority, power of darkness, and translated
into the kingdom of Jesus. In Christ we have, possess now, redemption, deliverance, the
remission of our sins. The New Birth remits all that we were in Adam and all that we ever
did, and made us a New Creation.
Hebrews 9
11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect
tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the
holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
With His own blood Jesus after being raised from the dead presented His blood to The Father
as a seal of our redemption. He had obtained for us a complete deliverance, redemption.
Hebrews 9
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the
redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called
might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Hebrews 9
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in
the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Colossians 2
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing
over them in it.
Hebrews 2
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise
took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death,
that is, the devil;
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Ephesians 2
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are
saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Acts 13
33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it
is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to
corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see
corruption.
This redemption also redeemed those under the Law that awaited Redemption in Christ.
By His sacrifice we have redemption in Him, He put sin away. By His resurrection, when He
spoiled the demonic principalities and powers, He delivered us from all satanic bondage. He
abolished death, destroyed Satan’s power which was spiritual death and delivered us from
spiritual death and its fear to bondage. We were made alive raised and seated with Christ
and our deliverance is complete.
In Christ – Righteousness In Him
Romans 3
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law
and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them
that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his
righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him
which believeth in Jesus.
In Christ, God has shown to us His way of righteousness, of making man righteous, which
does not depend on the Law or rule keeping. This righteousness is offered and imparted to us
through faith in Jesus Christ. We have been justified, made righteous as a free gift through
the redemptive work the deliverance that is in Christ Jesus. Through His death, resurrection
and victory over Satan, righteousness has been made available as a free gift, accomplished
though Christ Jesus.
Romans 5
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through
him.
Romans 8
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he
also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
1 Corinthians 6
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in
the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Righteousness has give us the ability to fellowship with God as if we had never sinned, as
though sin had never been. It fears us from any sense of fear, inferiority or sense of
impending judgment. We have rights and benefits of sonship and can cry Abba, Father.
We are save from wrath and any fear of judgment. In God’s predestination, realized, in
Christ, we have been called, justified and glorified in Christ, with the promise of a glorified
body like our Lord’s.
Acts 13
39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified
by the law of Moses.
Romans 6
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
By Him, or In Him, we have been justified made righteous from all things. Righteousness
could not be given by the Law, but In Christ and by Christ we have been made righteous.
Therefore, since we are righteous, sin, Satan, and the effects of sin, bondage, poverty,
circumstances, people shall not have dominion, or control over us. We who were formerly
slaves to sin, we have become slaves to righteousness. Webster’s Dictionary states a slave is :
a person held in servitude as the chattel of another : one that is completely subservient to a
dominating influence
: a device (as the printer of a computer) that is directly responsive to another. As a slave of
righteousness, we are in servitude, completely subservient to the dominating influence of,
and directly responsive to righteousness. A slave is controlled, under the authority of
another, and the property of another. We are now controlled, under the authority of and the
property of righteousness.
Romans 8
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not
after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 5
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope
of the glory of God.
Philippians 1
11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and
praise of God.
In Christ, there is no condemnation, no sense of judgment, inferiority, or wrath. As we walk
in the spirit, this freedom from any sense of condemnation will give us a Holy confidence and
boldness before God, and others. This peace with God in Christ gives us access by faith to the
abundance of His grace and Heavenly blessings. These blessings are converted into physical,
emotional and temporal blessings as well. We are filled with the fruits of righteousness, the
works of Christ and greater works are being manifested through righteousness.
Romans 10
1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own
righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those
things shall live by them.
Many have tried to attain righteousness by their own zeal, but our ignorant of God’s
righteousness. They try to attain righteousness through their own effort, but should instead
submit to God’s righteousness, in Christ Jesus. Christ is the end of the law, of rule keeping to
all that believeth. Instead of trying and failing to keep rules, we rest in the righteousness in
Christ. I’m not trying to get righteousness from keeping rules. Instead of trying to get eternal
life by the Law of Moses, for the law shows man that he has failed the law and failed to attain
life by the Law, we have accepted and submitted to the righteousness of God given through
faith in Jesus Christ and now have Life, Zoë Life, Eternal Life In Christ.
In Christ – Perfected, Sanctified (We Have Sanctification)
Hebrews 10
1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things,
can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers
thereunto perfect.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once
purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest
not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou
wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish
the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for
all.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices,
which can never take away sins:
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand
of God;
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my
laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say,
his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from
an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Through Christ’s sacrifice, He has made believers, perfect. We are worshippers once purged
by the blood of Jesus, and have no more consciousness of sin. Righteousness has freed us
from sin consciousness, and condemnation. In Christ, we are sanctified, perfected. He has
written His word in our hearts and is writing them in our minds. Remission means that God
remembers our sins and iniquities, no more. Since our sins are remitted, there are no more
offerings needed for sins. By the blood of Jesus, we have boldness to enter into the Holiest,
the very presence of God. We are sanctified, our heats have been washed from evil sin
consciousness, and our bodies washed with the Living water of the word.
In Christ – Boldness, access, Freedom In Christ
Ephesians 2
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Ephesians 3
12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
Romans 8
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and
death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own
Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
In Christ Jesus, and through Him we have access by one spirit unto the Father. We have
boldness and access, with confidence, by our faith In Him. In Christ Jesus, the principle of
Life, Zoe, Eternal Life has made us free from the Law of Sin and Death. The Son in the likeness
of sinful flesh, condemned sin in the flesh and made us free from the bondage of sin.
In Christ, - We Have Eternal Life, Zoe, Eternal Life Realities
In Christ we Have, Possess now, Eternal Life
Zoe, is used in the NT "of life as a principle, life in the absolute sense, life as God has
it, that which the Father has in Himself, and which He gave to the Incarnate Son to
have in Himself, John 5:26, and which the Son manifested in the world, 1 John 1:2.
From this life man has become alienated in consequence of the Fall, Eph. 4:18, and of
this life men become partakers through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, John 3:15, who
becomes its Author to all such as trust in Him, Acts 3:15, and who is therefore said to
be 'the life' of the believer, Col. 3:4, for the life that He gives He maintains, John
6:35,63. Eternal life is the present actual possession of the believer because of his
relationship with Christ, John 5:24; 1 John 3:14, and that it will one day extend its
domain to the sphere of the body is assured by the Resurrection of Christ, 2 Cor. 5:4; 2
Tim. 1:10.
Vine's Expository Dictionary
2 Peter 1
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and
godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be
partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall
not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

testify of me.
40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
John 10
9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find
pasture.
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might
have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
The rich young ruler asked Jesus what He must do to have Eternal Life. In Christ we who
believe have Eternal Life. Zoë is the Life of God, the Life of the Eternal Himself It is not just
Eternal in its duration, but Eternal in quality. this is God’s Life, the Life that the Father has in
Himself, the Life that Jesus has in Himself, and He came so that we may have this Life in
ourselves. We do now possess this Life in us now, it’s not just a future hope. Jesus has given
us this Life, and we can have it in superabundance in us.
Eternal Life is a substance in you that eliminates Spiritual hunger.
John 6
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger;
and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth
on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
48 I am that bread of life.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall
live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
John 6
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of
man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at
the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
1 John 5
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
Jesus called Himself the bread of God, which came from Heaven that gives Life. Eternal Life
eliminates spiritual hunger. It is the bread of God. We have eternal life. We eat His flesh and
drink His blood we have eternal life His Life in us. We eat His Life – giving Word. This Life has
formed a living union where we dwell in Him an He in us.
Eternal Life gives off light and enlightens our intellect and heals our bodies.
John 1
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck
them out of my hand.
John 11
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he
were dead, yet shall he live:
John 17
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom
thou hast sent.
John 14

believing ye might have life through his name
. Acts 2
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy
countenance.
Eternal Life gives off light and enlightens our intellect and has a healing effect on our bodies.
Just as radium, or uranium gives off light, this Life of God is full of God’s energy, and power
and gives off divine light which energizes us enlightening our souls, minds and imparts divine
life and healing to our bodies. Just as water is used in a nuclear reactor, we have a spring of
living water in us, spring up to Eternal Life. The unsaved have their understanding darkened.
They are alienated from Zoë, the Life of God their hearts and minds are blind. They walk in
darkness. This light from Jesus frees us from the darkness of this world and imparts wisdom
and direction to our actions and conduct, therefore we know what to do in our conduct and
activities, because the light of life directs our paths. As we feed on the word this life can rise
up in us in superabundance and live itself in us. This life frees us from calamity, destruction.
We will never perish. Through knowledge of Jesus we have life, which God had sent.
Eternal Life frees us, causes us to reign over sin, sickness, poverty, Satan and the effects of
the fall and this world.
Acts 3
15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are
witnesses.
Acts 5
20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
Acts 11
18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath
God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
Romans 5
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much
more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive
abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so
by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto
eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto
holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Jesus is known as the Prince, or Lord of Life. He destroyed the Lord of Death, Satan (Hebrews
2:14). The apostles were commanded to teach and understand these Life-giving words, all
the words of this Life. This Life saves us heals us. Eternal Life causes us to reign in the realm
of Life. Like the Prince of life, by one Jesus Christ we reign in Life over sin, sickness, Satan,
demons, poverty, circumstances and this world. We have the righteousness that Zoë gives.
We reign through righteousness unto eternal life, this free gift.
Romans 8
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and
death.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of
righteousness.
2 Corinthians 3
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the
spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
2 Corinthians 4
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus
might be made manifest in our body.
2 Corinthians 5
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be
unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
Philippians 2
16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in
vain, neither laboured in vain.
2 Timothy 1
10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished
death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
1 John 1
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our
eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that
eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
1 John 3
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that
loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life
abiding in him.
1 John 5
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye
may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give
him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall
pray for it.
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may
know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the
true God, and eternal life.
Revelation 22
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which
bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree
were for the healing of the nations.
The Law or principle of this divine life in Christ has freed us from the vicious circle or principle
of sin and death. Our spirits are full of life because of righteousness and the Holy Spirit gives,
or imparts life by the word. Just as we bear about the death of Christ in our bodies( dead to
sin ), we also manifest the life of God in our bodies, being identified with His resurrection.
Through the word we cloth ourselves with this life, which can swallow up the effects of
Adam’s fall in our bodies. We by the word are being swallowed, drowned in a sea of eternal
life. Jesus abolished spiritual death in man and its hold on man by His resurrection. Our faith
in Jesus, caused us to pass from death to life, from Satan’s dominion into the kingdom of
Jesus Christ. We have eternal life abiding in us. We have the Son, we have Life. We do know
we have Zoë Life. Jesus, the true God, eternal life has given us an understanding. This Life of
God flows like a river from God’s throne and flows in and through us in Christ. It causes us to
be fruitful.
In Christ, we Have His Victory, always Truimph
1 John 5
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh
the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
1 Corinthians 15
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 5
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much
more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have
now received the atonement.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive
abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Colossians 2
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing
over them in it.
2 Corinthians 2
14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh
manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
In Christ, we were born of God and this eternal life has given us the victory over the world the
flesh, poverty, sickness and circumstances. When we believed that Jesus is the Son of God,
we overcame the world, we became world overcomers. We have the victory that Christ
wrought for us in His victory over Satan. Jesus got the Victory and He gave us the Victory,
which manifests in Victory over every area and every circumstance. We are saved by His Life;
we have received the reconciliation, the atonement. We have the Victory; we reign in Life in
Christ.
In Christ we have His Divine ability
Philippians 4
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.
Ephesians 6
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
2 Corinthians 3
4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency
is of God;
In Christ we can do all things. We can do anything we need to do, through His Divine power
which strengthens us. We are strengthened with all power. We are being strengthened in
the Lord and the power of His might. He is all powerful. Our sufficiency, ability is of God, to
do what we need to do, and He gives us the desires of our heart.
In Christ we have His Wisdom, Knowledge.
1 Corinthians 1
5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;
6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord
Jesus Christ.
9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness,
and sanctification, and redemption:
Colossians 2
3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
We are enriched through our union with Him in every blessing, which includes Divine Wisdom
and knowledge, and the ability to speak it. Christ has been made to us our wisdom,
righteousness, sanctification and redemption from God, and that’s plenty of Wisdom. In
Christ, God has revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden,
manifesting itself as our Righteousness thus making us upright and putting us in right
standing with God, and our Consecration making us pure and holy, and our Redemption
providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin
Blessed In Him, accepted in Christ, have an inheritance.
Ephesians 1
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the
purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:.
Romans 8
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him
also freely give us all things?
1 Corinthians 3
21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your's;
John 1
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
In Christ we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Heavenly places. We are
accepted in the beloved. In Christ we have obtained the inheritance that Christ received as a
joint-heir with Christ. With Christ, we are blessed with all things. With Him we are given all
things. All things are ours. Of His fullness, we have received.
In Christ – Divine Provision
Philippians 4
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
3 John 1
2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul
prospereth.
In Christ Jesus, God shall an is supplying all our needs. As we give, god gives back abundantly.
He wishes above all things that we prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers.
Philemon 1
6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every
good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 13
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great
shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing
in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Our faith is energized as we acknowledge these In Christ truths. Jesus, our shepherd is
maturing us to every good work and working in us these In Christ truths.
In Christ – mind of Christ, sound mind peace of God in mind..
2 Timothy 1
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Philippians 4
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 2
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind
of Christ.
In Christ we walk not as the unredeemed in the vanity of their minds. We are not being
conformed to this world but being transformed by the process of renewing our minds. We
have been given a sound mind and spirit in the New Birth, not a spirit of of fear. The peace
of God keeps our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We are putting on the helmet of salvation.
Freedom in Christ, Freedom from sin, Satan.
Galatians 5
1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled
again with the yoke of bondage.
John 8
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
1 John 3
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot
sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 2
14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I
have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you,
and ye have overcome the wicked one.
1 John 5
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth
himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may
know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the
true God, and eternal life.
We stand fast in the liberty which Christ has made us free. We are not going back into
bondage of rule-keeping. Jesus made us free, we are free indeed. We are to stand in faith
that we are free and refuse the lies of the devil to the contrary. The word is in us and we
have overcome the devil in Christ. We are free from sin, we sinneth not. The wicked one
can’t touch us, oppress us or get a hold of us. The line is busy. The Son of God has given us
an understanding.
Who WE Are In Christ,
New Creation In Christ, We are the Righteousness of God In Christ. New Self, New Humanity,
In A New World.
2 Corinthians 5
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold,
all things are become new.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the
righteousness of God in him.
Ephesians 4
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true
holiness.
Colossians 3
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that
created him:
Ephesians 2
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath
before ordained that we should walk in them.
1 Corinthians 6
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
1 Corinthians 12
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body,
being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
Ephesians 5
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
1 John 4
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment:
because as he is, so are we in this world.
In Christ, we are New Creatures, a New Creation, old things have passed away. Our Old Self,
the Old Humanity, and our associations to this world has passed away. We are a New Self, a
New Humanity, in a New World. We have put on the New Man, in His image, righteous and
holy. His workmanship, one spirit, the body of Christ.
In Christ – More than Conquerors, Sons of God, Kings and Priests Heirs of God, Joint Heirs
with Christ’s
Romans 8
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of
God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Galatians 3
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Galatians 4
4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made
under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying,
Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through
Christ.
1 Peter 2
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual
sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye
should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous
light;
Revelation 1
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion
for ever and ever. Amen.
Ephesians 2
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Romans 8
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer
with him, that we may be also glorified together.
We are more than Conquerors, more than Victors. We have come through a process of
persuasion to the firm conclusion that nothing can defeat us. Death, or life, angels,
principalities, height or the depths of hell can’t separate us. We are sons, children of God,
crying Abba Father. We are living stones a living habitation of God. We are Kings and Priests
of God now. We are a chosen, Royal Priesthood, called out of darkness into His light. We are
heirs and joint – heir with Jesus, sharing in His full Inheritance.
I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST. JESUS AS OUR DIVINE ENABLING ENABLER
Philippians 4
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I
am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
14 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from
Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were
sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
This has been a much misunderstood section of scripture that many defend as God allowing us
to suffer need and privation. This is not what this study is about, for God wants to fill us with
Jesus Divine enabling ability so that despite the circumstances, when our natural ability has
reached its limits we will draw on and depend on Jesus’ Divine enabling ability. This word in
Phillipians 4:13, means just more than physical strength, although we can use that too, but
about Christ Jesus’ Divine Ability being infused in us and causing us to be victorious, His
ability putting us over.
Confession: I can do all things through Jesus who strengthens me. I am relying on His Divine
Enabling Ability to put me over and make me successful in every circumstance and condition.
When I’ve reached my limits and abilities, I depend on His Divine strength and enabling
ability to make me successful. I’m being strengthened from within.
Ephesians 3
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might
by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Colossians 1
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and
longsuffering with joyfulness;
Colossians 1
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance
of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom
of his dear Son:
Hebrews 11
11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a
child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
It is interesting to note that the Greek word strength and power and ability are all this same
Greek word ,du/namiv .which is Number 1411 in Strongs Greek Concordance, for strength, and
power, and ability.
The Greek word for able is du/namai, 1410 in Strongs Greek Concordance, for able which is
very similar to strength, power
The Word “Might”and “Mighty”, are both Number 1410 and 1411, so this denotes not only
strength, power, mighty, might, but ableness, and ability as well. So this power and strength,
not only make us strong, but endues us with Divine emabling Ability, to do those things we have
to do, need to do and want to do, for God and for ourselves, loved ones.
The Lord is giving us, strengthening, might, power, ability in our inner man, He has made us
able, with His Glorious Power, Ability, to partake of all of our inheritance as Saints in His Light.
He has delivered us from Satan’s power and ability to hinder us or do anything to us. We are
enabled with all ability, power.
Sarah not only needed strength to give birth past age, she needed a miracle, she needed Ability
to do it when she was past age. I see from this that faith can give us strength and Jesus’
enabling ability.

Romans 15
19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from
Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
Romans 16
25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of
Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world
began,
1 Corinthians 1
18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are
saved it is the power of God.
1 Corinthians 1
24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the
wisdom of God.
The preaching of the Gospel is the preaching of the Cross, the death, burial and resurrection of
the Lord and also that we were Identified with Him in His death and resurrection, this is the
preaching of Christ, His person and work and it releases His divine resurrection power, ability
and wisdom. Christ crucified is the power and wisdom of God, because it defeated satan and
made us free!!

1 Corinthians 2
4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in
demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world,
nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
1 Corinthians 4
20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
Ephesians 1
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of
wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his
calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the
working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right
hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is
named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the
church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
1 Thessalonians 1
5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and
in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
This wisdom of the cross, had satan and the prinicipalities known this, they wouldn't have
crucified the Lord, because when Jesus was made alive, satan could hold Him and us no longer.
Jesus spoiled them and we inherited that victory. This power raised Jesus up far above, all
principality, power and name, any adverse circumstance or condition that has a name or
authority on this earth Jesus is above it. Jesus is above "cancer", "poverty, etc.. Since we are
His body its under our feet also. We have power and His Divine ability over it, since we are over
it. It is vanquished under our feet, and we enforce this victory by using the authority of Jesus
Name! This Gospel is in power, ability and the Holy Ghost Power.
To repeat, that is why your study and preaching of these Pauline, cross, redemption truths will
release great power for growth In Christ and for the manifestation of our inheritance in our
lives.

Holy Ghost Power, Ability.
Acts 1
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be
witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost
part of the earth.
2 Corinthians 3
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency
is of God;
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the
spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
The Holy Spirit give us power and ability. When we are filled with Him and speak with other
tongues, He is able to pray His perfect will for us and others. Jude 20 says that praying in the
Holy Ghost, builds up empowers our Holy Faith.
Our sufficiency, ability, power, might comes from God, who makes us able ministers of the new
testament, of the spirit. This message of Christ is the power of God and releases resurrection,
ZOE, Divine Life and power!!
