Slieve Bearnagh – The Wall of Giants

We set out to climb Slieve Bearnagh, one of the most striking peaks in the Mourne Mountains.
The day began wrapped in fog and silence — the air heavy, the path hidden. //
Our only guide was the Mourne Wall, stretching endlessly through the clouds, built by hand more than a century ago to protect Belfast’s water supply. //

As the afternoon light began to break through, the mountain revealed its heart — golden peaks, drifting mist, and a wall that seemed to breathe with the sky.
Every stone tells a story of endurance and patience, carved by men who never sought glory, only purpose.

🎥 This cinematic short captures the feeling of that climb — the beauty, the effort, the peace that only comes when you stand among giants.

📍 Location: Slieve Bearnagh, Mourne Mountains, Northern Ireland
🏔️ Height: 739 meters (2,425 ft)
🧱 Mourne Wall: Built 1904–1922, 22 miles long, crossing 15 summits
