Proverbs 18:3 Explained, KJV — When the Wicked Cometh… Reconnect Your Soul with the Creator

“When the wicked cometh, then cometh also contempt, and with ignominy reproach” (Prov 18:3, KJV). In this study we rightly divide the passage with three lenses:
• Doctrinal: a picture of the Antichrist.
• Spiritual: when your flesh shows up, contempt follows.
• Historical: Rehoboam as the example.
We also consider the courtroom of God—He records every step and holds us accountable—yet shows mercy to the believer who comes with a genuine heart of repentance. No one is born again a “super-saint” the next day; the Lord can even use our weakness to drive us to our knees and closer to Jesus Christ. Scripture read and applied strictly in the King James Bible.
