How to Adjust the Valves on a 1500cc Volkswagen Air-cooled Engine, and So Should You!

Working on my Project VW and decided to show how to adjust the valves and inspect and tighten the cylinder head nuts. Following the directions of John Muir's "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive...." manual, the following procedure should accurately adjust the valves on almost all 1500cc and 1600cc single and dual port air-cooled Volkswagen motors. Also shown is how to inspect and tighten the cylinder head nuts, a simple maintenance item that often gets overlooked, but is essential in keeping your Volkswagen alive.
