Palestinian prisoners face ‘brutal torture’ in Israeli prisons: Analysis

Since the war on Gaza began, Israeli forces have intensified raids across the occupied West Bank and Gaza.
Around 20,000 arrests have been documented in the occupied Palestinian territory, while the number arrested from the Strip remains unknown.
Most detainees are held without charge and report ill-treatment, starvation, and systematic abuse.

The Palestinian prisoners being released are likely to be in “horrific” condition because Palestinians in Israeli jails are subjected to the most “brutal and violent torture”, academic Basil Farraj says.
