Palestinian groups have released the first round of living Israeli captives held in Gaza, as agreed under the ceasefire deal with Israel.
Seven captives have been handed over to the Red Cross, who will facilitate their transfer to Israeli forces.
They are expected to undergo an initial medical examination before arriving at Reim military base in southern Israel, where they will reunite with their families for the first time in more than two years.

The first hand over was celebrated by emotional crowds, including families of the Israeli captives in what's known as Hostages Square in Tel Aviv.
That's where Israelis have been protesting every week since the war began.
Many of them have accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of sabotaging and delaying previous attempts to reach a deal to secure their release.

Al Jazeera’s Nour Odeh is following developments in Israel from Jordan's capital.
She's in Amman because the Israeli government has banned Al Jazeera from reporting in Israel and the occupied West Bank.
